It deals with minor illnesses and injuries that do not need a visit to Accident and Emergency – including respiratory problems, infections, bites, rashes, sprains, cuts and bruising, superficial burns and emergency contraception. It also offers advice on non-urgent conditions without an appointment. Patients are seen by an experienced health practitioner.

The new Urgent Care Centre also includes the out of hours GP service, which has moved from Yates Street in Oldham.
